Harvard Book Prize Hong Kong (HBPHK) is a flagship initiative of the Harvard Club of Hong Kong Educational Fund Limited (HCHKEF), a section 88 registered charitable organization in Hong Kong (Tax-exempt Charity File No.: 91/14858).

The Harvard Club of Hong Kong Education Fund is associated with the Harvard Club of Hong Kong (“HCHK”)

The HBPHK and HCHKEF are not legally affiliated with Harvard University.

We serve to run the local program of the The Harvard Book Prize of the Harvard Alumni Association.

Mission

To provide for the advancement and promotion of learning and education of Hong Kong students with the support of the members and friends of the Harvard community both in Hong Kong and overseas.

Vision

Following the Harvard tradition of pursuing academic excellence and cultivating citizen-leaders, we envision a future where Hong Kong youth have equal opportunity to realize their potential irrespective of their social and economic means.

Every year Prize Books are awarded to Hong Kong secondary schools.

In 2020, 249 schools participated with 699 students receiving the Prize Book.
